Neurotoxin
FUNCTION: Inhibits voltage-gated potassium channel currents in DRG neurons. 200 nM of the toxin inhibits current amplitude by only 25% and even at concentrations up to 5 uM, the toxin does not inhibit all potassium currents. In vivo, insects injected with this toxin showed signs of neurotoxicity including twitching, paralysis, and body contraction. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:22595790}.
