Both the M1 and M1-RGD peptides were efficiently taken up by U87MG cells. Quantitative analysis indicated that M1-RGD exhibited a better tumor targeting efficacy than M1. M1-RGD-PTX exhibited higher cellular uptake which was consistent with its higher cytotoxicity
