Evidence 1 Activity

Activity

Neurotoxin
FUNCTION: Binds and inhibits potassium channels. Intracerebroventricular injection into mice induces paralyzing symptoms followed by death. Its binding affinity to rat brain synaptosomes is 5-fold lower than this of KTX 1.

Target

voltage-gated potassium channel (Kv)
