FUNCTION: When injected into the rat central nervous system, exhibits antinociceptive effects such as increasing hot plate and tail flick withdrawal latencies in a dose- and time-dependent fashion (PubMed:17533426). Likely to act on the bradykinin receptor B2 (BDKRB2) (PubMed:17533426). The greatest antinociceptive effects occurs 30 minutes after injection in hot plate (ED(50)=6.82 nM) and tail flick tests (ED(50)=2.94 nM) (PubMed:17533426). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:17533426}.
