Neurotoxin
FUNCTION: Mu-conotoxins block voltage-gated sodium channels (Nav). This synthetic toxin inhibits tetrodotoxin-resistant and -sensitive voltage-gated sodium channels. This block is very slowly reversible. Causes seizures and paralysis, when injected intracranially into mice.
