FUNCTION: Potent inhibitor of voltage-gated potassium channels such as Kv1.1/KCNA1 (IC(50)=0.144 nM), Kv1.2/KCNA2 (IC(50)=0.675 nM), Kv1.3/KCNA3 (IC(50)=0.23 nM) and Shaker (Kd=160 nM) (PubMed:33864815, PubMed:34919963, PubMed:8360176). Suppresses expression of the Kv1.3/KCNA3 channel in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated mouse macrophages (PubMed:33864815). Down-regulates secretion of nitric oxide (NO) and inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF/TNF, IL-1beta/IL1B and IL6, in LPS-stimulated mouse macrophages in a manner dependent on Kv1.3/KCNA3 channel blockage (PubMed:33864815). Reduces activation of MAPK and NF-kappa-B signaling pathways in LPS-stimulated mouse macrophages (PubMed:33864815). Modulates intracellular Ca(2+) signaling in human PMA/ionomycin-triggered T-cells (PubMed:34919963). Interferes with the activation of the MAPK, NF-kappa-B and NFATc1 pathways in human PMA/ionomycin-triggered T-cells (PubMed:34919963). Reduces proliferation of human PMA/ionomycin-triggered T-cells (PubMed:34919963). Down-regulates secretion of cytokines, such as TNF/TNF and IL2, in human PMA/ionomycin-triggered T-cells (PubMed:34919963). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:33864815, ECO:0000269|PubMed:34919963, ECO:0000269|PubMed:8360176}.
