Active against the airway pathogens S. pneumoniae, S. aureus, Non-typeable H. influenzae, and P. aeruginosa (see the 2014 ref). The primary structure was reported in 1997 by Forssmann U and colleagues . Three C-terminal truncated variants with 73, 75, and 76 residues were isolated as well.
